    This part of Central Station was completed in 1906.

    Thanks JD – Central Station did indeed open in 1906.
    An advertisement by Hart’s Central Railway CafĂ© in the Sydney Morning Herald dated 25th September 1906 notes the new dining and refreshment rooms will be open to the public on 27th September 1906. It states “in the shop adjoining the Refreshment Room are sold pasty confectionary, cigars, tobaccos, wines, fruit, soft drinks etc.”
