With my recent introduction to Twitter, I’m not surprised it outstripped the competition. I find it useful, informative and vaguely addictive.  There are loads of tweets about #archives and I have made many contacts in a few short weeks. One archivist wrote (off-Twitter) to ask about this blog and another fantastic tweeter mashed-up some of our Flickr photos onto a Google map. Click an archival photo that we have geo-tagged and see a “now and then” perspective of that location.

New poll, new plugin

I wasn’t satisfied with the software we used for our first poll so we are going to try a new plugin for the next Friday poll (recommended, in fact, by another fellow twitterer!)
