I advise anyone to avoid apps and avoid internet explorer keep your browser upto date.
Keep all plugins such as java and adobe flash as current as possible.
With most infection vectors being browser based I also tell peolpe to avoid mobile browsers unless they update their phones OS regularly.
I find mobile devices iphones tablets etc.. are slower to update and react to security threats. These for me pose more danger as they are actually easier to hack.
Behave as you would in a public place (uness you behave poory in public!)
