Hello – I work in a library with an archives section, i.e. controlled humidity, temp, etc.
But at home, I have a few too many books at the moment with 2 layers on many shelves.
What is the best way for short/long term storage in a house?
Would a cardboard box insulated with air pockets or styrphome ‘peanuts’ be okay to ensure the books were protected and did not take on a musty smell after a year or so. And is it best to put insecticide around the outside of the storage area?
