Unguarded Moments is a project produced as part of Art and About Sydney 2011 by the City of Sydney, it will be based in Miller’s Point.
As part of the Festival, Unguarded Moments will include eight large scale film projections in and around Millers Point. You’ll be able to view the projections on any night of the week between 23 September and 23 October. Each of the projections features selections of archival photographs and films from the area, sourced from a number of public and private collections, including the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia, the City of Sydney Archives, the State Records Authority of NSW, the State Library of NSW, the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, the Powerhouse Museum and the Maritime Union of Australia. We have received some incredible contributions from past and present residents from the Millers Point community as well.
Check out the films, images and stories on the Unguarded Moments Website
Are you going to see it? Let us know if you do and what you thought of it. We are quite chuffed that some of the images from State Records NSW are being used.
