The Mysterious Cenotaph Photograph
One of the mysteries that our Archivists came across involved a photograph in the collection that was of a gathering around the Cenotaph in Martin Place, Sydney. At first glance you would think it is clearly of an occasion like Anzac Day or Remembrance Day. However, the date given was February 1929. Why were people gathering around the monument?
